KARACHI, Sept 14: The revenue of Sindh from infrastructure cess on imports is likely to touch Rs21.8 billion in the current fiscal year compared to Rs18.2bn the last year (2012-13), according to the data released by the Excise and Taxation Department.
The province has already fetched Rs3.4bn in cess revenue in July-Aug 2013 compared with Rs2.5bn in the same months of last year. KARACHI: Sindh Excise and Taxation Department (E&TD) collected more than Rs 23.017 billion in taxes by February 2014, showing an increase of Rs 3.965 billion as compared to Rs 19.052 billion collected during the corresponding period of last year.
